Spill Response Training
Level 1 Spill Kit Emergency Response Training (45 min)
Covers a basic introduction to emergency spill response. Includes both theory and application on how to minimise the impact of a spill in your work environment.
The course is suitable for general employees that require the necessary training of spill response procedures to be compliant to your companies due diligence requirements.
This 30 minute Training Session Includes:
- What are the main provisions of the Environment Protection Act 1994 and how do they benefit us?
- Awareness of materials stored at your site and their MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).
- Introduction to Emergency Spill Kits located around your site.
- How to use the various products in those Spill Kits in the event of a spill.
- What are the different characteristics of those products?
- How to prevent spills entering waterways (storm water drains etc).
- Basic PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Further safety considerations after clean up.
- Disposal of used product.
- Product absorption capacities.
Suitable for all Team leaders, Transport Drivers, Mechanics, Mobile Technicians, Workshop, Depot and Factory Personnel, and/or anyone who uses, stores or transports dangerous goods and liquids.
Prices are charged per participant (ex GST), a minimum requirement of 4 participants per session is required.
